The North Herts Dyslexia Group was formed in 1993 by a group of Letchworth parents and teachers. In 2007 we changed our name to dyslexia matters.
The aims of the group are:
- To provide advice, support and information to parents of dyslexic children, dyslexic adults and any other interested people.
- To provide a list of teachers willing to offer tuition to dyslexic children outside school hours.
- To make the public better informed about dyslexia, and to make schools more aware of the problems it causes
- To provide information about other similar events.
- To provide leaflets and books about dyslexia.
The group organises several meetings each year at which expert speakers address various aspects of the problem of dyslexia.
